Problems on powermac G4

1. Debian comes with Iceweasel. It is possible I read, I never tried it myself though.

2. There is no official Adobe flash player for Linux/PPC. This has been a thorn in the eye for years. The only solution is to use gnash, which will give some sort of flash (very simple). It is possible to play downloaded swf / mp4 files with mplayer.

3. I would enable everything "Chinese" with synaptic package manger. Just do a search in sysnaptic with chinese and enable everything chinese. I have no experience with that.

I guess there are more to play around in Linux mint ppc before I get a hang on it.
but... it's definitely better than OSX on 1ghz with 256mb RAM.

To my opinion flash is coming to powerpc. There is html5 video support in new versions of midori (Debian testing). There are also people working on Lightspark, an open source flash player. Maybe it will be ported to powerpc once. My guess is that in one year we will have support for flash.
