Java for PPC

Anyone out there with an older Fedora/Fedora-based distro (or RHEL-based, in fact) looking for an up-to-date Java Runtime or JDK? I thought, up until this point, that the only answer was the OpenJDK (Sun doesn't supply JREs or JDKs for the PPC anymore).

Of course, then last week, a Java developer told me about how IBM makes and maintains a JDK specifically for the Linux/PPC platform. I went and downloaded it, and it works fine on both my Fedora 9 and my Yellow Dog 5.0.2 (Fedora-Core 5.0) installs.

I hope this information helps someone else, because it sure helped me. I've been looking for just this thing now for nearly a year.
